Assistance for Candidates From Developing Countries

Registration fee for participants from the developing countries may be waived off by the organizing committee upon written request by the participants. Registration fee would include conference material, lunches and refreshments on all days of the course. Participants from developing countries will also be provided with free accommodation for 5 nights from 3rd to 7th March 2009 (Check out on 8th March). No funds will be available for travel. All selected participants have to bear the full cost of their round-trip air ticket between their home countries to Singapore.

The organizers of the course do not accept liability for the payment of any cost or compensation that may arise from damage to or loss of personal property, or from illness, injury, disability or death of a participant while he/she is traveling to and from or attending the update, and it is clearly understood that each participant undertakes the responsibility for such coverage. All participants would be well advised to take out insurance against these risks.

All applicants will be informed in due course of the results of their applications latest by 15th January 2009. At that time they will also be given full details of the procedures to be followed with regard to administrative and financial matters. Approval for registration fee waiver and free accommodation will be at the discretion of the organizing committee.
